Job Description for Motorcoach Operator
First Class Charter provides the very best customer experience possible and we are searching for First Class drivers to provide that experience. This person(s) must be a great leader that provides the professionalism that goes hand in hand with First Class. Candidates must be able to think quickly on the go, adjust to changing conditions, be effective communicators and work well with others. Will be required to always be on-time and promote First Class service through professional dress attire, behavior and dependability.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Operate motorcoach in safe and responsible manner with and without passengers
- Properly prepare for every trip including necessary research of entire trip
- Strictly follow all traffic and DOT laws and regulations
- Communicate any and all mechanical malfunctions, problems and accidents to FCC management and proper authorities
- Assist passengers loading and unloading
- Load and unload luggage to include up to 70 lbs
- Operate ADA lift and attached ADA mobility aid restraints
- Properly communicate safety instructions to passengers including any rules required for trip
- Works to build rapport with passengers, group leaders and personnel
- Completes all required pre-trip and post trip inspections as well as all required documentation including E-Logs and drivers logs
- Wear appropriate First Class uniform at all times

General Requirements
- High School Diploma
- At least 23 years of age
- Ability to work week days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have or the ability to obtain an Alabama or Tennessee Commercial Driver License (class A, B or C with Passenger Endorsement)
- Pass DOT required physical
- Pass Drug and Alcohol testing
- Pass Criminal Background Check
- Be able to lift 70 lbs
- Pass road test with safety personnel
Employment and Background
- Must have verifiable employment history with explanation for any gap of 30 days or longer
Motor Vehicle Record
- Will train the right candidate, motorcoach experience preferred
- Must have clean driving record
